You Don't Have to Have It All Figured Out to Start.
Virtual therapy in Missouri for people in recovery, questioning their relationship with substances, or just starting to get curious. You want support from someone that gets it? That’s me.
Maybe you're newly sober and nobody told you that getting sober was the easy part. Maybe you're not sure you're an addict but you're also not sure you're not. Maybe you've been in recovery for years and something still feels unresolved.
Recovery isn't a straight line. It's not just about stopping — it's about figuring out who you are without the thing you used to cope with, which turns out to be a whole separate project.
And if you're just starting to ask the question — if you're "curious" but not ready to claim a label — that counts too. You don't have to hit a bottom to deserve support.
This is for you if:
You're newly sober and adjusting to a life that feels unfamiliar
You're questioning your relationship with alcohol or substances and not sure what to call it
You've been in recovery for a while but something still feels stuck
Sobriety is holding but your relationships, your emotions, or your sense of self aren't
You want to talk to someone who actually gets it — not just someone who has studied it
What therapy looks like here:
I'm in recovery myself. I don't lead with that to win points — I mention it because it means I'm not just clinically trained in this work, I've actually lived it. I know what the 2am thoughts sound like. I know what it's like to rebuild a life and a sense of self after the thing you used to lean on is gone.
I'm not going to lecture you about the stages of change or hand you a pamphlet. We're going to talk about your actual life, what got you here, what's keeping you stuck, and what moving forward actually looks like for you.
No shame. No scripts. Just real work, from someone who gets it from both sides of the room.
