Being a Teenager is A LOT Right Not.
Virtual therapy for Missouri teens navigating anxiety, self-doubt, big changes, and the “what the heck do I do now?” moments.
Nobody tells you how hard it is to be a teenager. You're expected to figure out who you are, manage school and friendships and family stuff, handle emotions that feel way too big — all while pretending you've got it together.
That's exhausting. And you don't have to do it alone.
This is for you if:
You feel anxious more than you don't — and you're not totally sure why
You're harder on yourself than you'd ever be on anyone else
Everything feels like it changed at once and you're just trying to keep up
You're sad in a way you can't quite explain
You're doing "fine" on the outside but running on empty on the inside
You just want someone to talk to who isn't going to freak out or make it weird
What's Actually Going On (and Why It Makes Sense)
Being a teen right now is genuinely hard. Your brain is still developing, your world keeps shifting, and everyone has an opinion about who you're supposed to be. It makes sense that you're overwhelmed. It makes sense that you're struggling.
That doesn't mean something is wrong with you. It means you're human — and maybe a little overdue for some real support. Like, from another human.
What therapy looks like here:
This isn't sitting across from someone who nods a lot and says "how does that make you feel?" We'll actually talk. About what's going on, what's underneath it, and what you want your life to feel like.
We'll work on the stuff that's getting in the way — the anxiety, the self-criticism, the feeling like you're behind or broken or too much. We'll build some tools. We'll figure out who you actually are underneath all the noise.
Sometimes it'll be heavy. Sometimes we'll laugh. Either way, you get to show up exactly as you are.
You don’t have to have it figured out to start.
